TAVARES -- Two firefighters Lake County’s Public Safety Department have been promoted to the rank of lieutenant.Lt. Jeff Hurst and Lt. Will Jenkins were promoted during a ceremony Feb. 18 at the County Administration Building in Tavares surrounded by family and top ranking officials from Lake County’s Public Safety Department.
