Judges look for the cream of the crop at Mount Dora Arts Festival

MOUNT DORA — Amid all the hoopla that surrounds the 39th Annual Mount Dora Arts Festival, one question pops up the most, "Why did the judges pick this?"
If you are one of the 250,000 expected to attend the two-day event on downtown streets, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 1-2, you might pick up some insight by watching which pieces of art sport ribbons that read "Selected for judging." The ribbons, given out Saturday, remain all day Sunday.
