An employee of the Carlton Palms home for developmentally disabled people in Mount Dora has been arrested for throwing a cup of hot water on a 21-year-old resident, the Lake County Sheriff's Office said today.

Kenyatta Devon Hill, 35, of Orlando was arrested Sunday and charged with aggravated abuse of a disabled adult. The victim, who is diagnosed with autism and is nonverbal, suffered second-degree burns to his chest and stomach in the Jan. 8 incident, according to a sheriff's report.
