Schools locked down as manhunt continues near Maitland

Seminole County deputies are searching a neighborhood near Oranole Road and Druid Drive — not far from Maitland — for burglary suspects late this morning.

One was in custody, according to department spokeswoman Kim Cannaday, and deputies were searching for what they believed to be two more.

The search has prompted some nearby schools to go on lockdown, reports say.
